Description

Cofomo is currently looking for a Senior Business Process Analyst to achieve a mandate with one of its client in Montreal. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for optimizing business processes, analyzing data and defining requirements for technology solutions. He is able to take an unstructured business problem and produce and present clear, fact-based recommendations to the business partners, and ease their transition towards implementation. The recommendation could include an organizational structure, a people training, a process change, modifications to business rules or implementation of new technology, or a combination of all. He will utilize broad business and technology to recommend and implement solutions which address business needs. He will be also supporting BA Manager/ PM for coordinating the some activites and validation of the quality of deliverables. The responsibilities are: • Conduct field interviews and meetings with project sponsor and key stakeholders to clarify business issues and underlying causes; • Responsible for business requirement gathering, elicitation and documentation; • Responsible for Requirements management and communication; • Perform key performance indicators, operational data and metrics of various business units; • Use business process and data modeling techniques and tools to capture and analyze business requirements and rules and suggest improvements; • Develop and maintain deep understanding of business processes and operations to ensure accuracy of business requirements and alignment of solutions to operations content; • Develop recommendations based on thorough quantitative analysis and best practices; • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure their performance management and business analysis needs are understood and supported; • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize their business requirements; • Execute formal projects and ad-hoc efforts to deliver the information required to guide business decisions; • Communicate relevant progress and achievements to stakeholders on a regular basis to manage expectations; • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize their business requirements; • Execute formal projects and ad-hoc efforts to deliver the information required to guide business decisions; • Communicate relevant progress and achievements to stakeholders on a regular basis to manage expectations. The required skills and competencies are: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience; • Master’s Degree in Business and Management is an asset; • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis, project delivery, and/or management consulting; • Stakeholder management experience; • Strong business acumen and technology savvy; • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills; • Demonstrated ability to inform and influence all levels of management; • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with high proficiency in English; • Knowledge of ITIL Framework; • Excellent Microsoft tools knowledge (ex.
